Artist: Craig “Hoop” Hooper

Craig raced BMX from 1980-1984 promoting his family owned bike shop Fairwood Cycle Center in Washington State. It was Craig’s love (or "pestering" depending on who you ask) for BMX in the late 70’s that caught the attention of his father and ultimately launched his new career direction into the bicycle industry. (Chuck Hooper, President of Seattle Bike Supply / Redline for almost 30 years - retired 2013, was inducted into the National BMX Hall of Fame in 2000.) Craig has donated original paintings and museum quality prints annually to the National BMX Hall of Fame charity auction since 2012. His original paintings and museum quality giclee prints are collected and found in galleries, private collections and companies around the world.

Craig also is an International Award Winning Creative with an extensive Advertising and Graphic Design background, who lived in Canada for 10 years working as a Senior Creative Contractor for several of the top advertising and design agencies in the country. Craig’s experience includes all aspects of branding, logo design, packaging, corporate collateral, product graphics and traditional and guerrilla advertising for an extensive list of national and international clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small proprietorships.

Pro-Bono work for Charities: "Cover them with Love" (various items distributed direct to the homeless, Craig started this charity in 2010), National BMX Hall of Fame charity auction, ALS Across Canada (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), CANstruction (Vancouver Food Bank), Eagle Riders F.O.E 4197 (various children's charities), Several private local charitable needs/fundraising for children and families dealing with health and hardship issues.
